Asus laptop TP401MA

Bluetooth quit working after Windows 10 update.
Apparently this is a common problem. The computer stops even recognizing that there is a bluetooth adapter present.
Here's how I fixed mine with a little help from doctor Google.
1. Open Control Panel and click System.

2. Click Device Manager at left.

3. If a bluetooth driver is still present, right-click and uninstall it.
Under USB Controllers, if there is an unknown device, right-click and uninstall it.
4. Then click Action at the top and click Scan for hardware changes.
The system will detect the bluetooth adapter and install the driver automatically.

UPDATE: The next time this happened, the bluetooth device wouldn't install. It just kept installing the unknown USB device.
I uninstalled the unknown device, did a HARD shutdown, left it for 30 seconds or so, then restarted. Bluetooth driver installed automatically.
